Adult Foster Care

Most seniors want to live independently and remain in their communities. Surveys have consistently found that among individuals age 50 and older, nearly nine out of every 10 say they want to remain in their homes for as long as possible.

A combination of personal care, homemaking and other services, Adult Foster Care provides assistance to seniors who live with a “host family” that is recruited, trained and supervised by Moore Center Services.

Services include medication monitoring, arranging appointments and transportation as well as transitional services between an institution and home.  Seniors in the program often become part of the family and are treated as such.

Our seniors are amongst this nation’s fastest growing population and greatest assets. Ensuring their well-being requires a renewed emphasis and focus on a plan for care that addresses all aspects of aging in America – personal, financial, work and health and provides senior citizens with more desirable home- and community-based care options.
